How to order your genes
Submit your sequence for optimization and synthesis. Please include the following information in addition to the sequence:
-
Desired cloning vector. Our standard vector is pBluescriptII SK or pUC57, but we also have other vectors (please inquire).
-
5' and 3' terminal restriction enzyme sites.
-
Restriction enzyme sites that you do not want in the optimized sequence.
-
Restriction enzyme sites that you want to retain from the original sequence.
Orders can be placed with a PO or a credit card by several ways. You can use the online submission form in this website. Alternatively, you can also order your genes by:
E-mail: order@celtek-genes.com
Toll-free phone: 800-399-6558
What you will receive
-
Approximately 10-20 µg of lyophilized plasmid DNA which contains your optimized synthetic gene.
-
Sequencing data which confirm the synthetic gene sequence cloned into a desired vector. Synthetic gene sequence will be confirmed base-by-base using automated fluorescent DNA sequencing, and we guarantee 100% match with your requested sequence.
-
The picture of gel electrophoresis documenting restriction enzyme digestion of each clone.
-
Sequence and map of the plasmid containing your gene.
Note: The package will be sent to you by overnight delivery.
How to submit an inquiry or quotation request

For requesting a codon optimization service, please provide the following information:
Protein or ORF DNA sequence.
Intended host expression system.
Restriction enzyme cutting sites at both ends.
Restriction enzyme cutting sites that you want to avoid in the optimized sequence.
Restriction enzyme cutting sites that you want to keep in the original sequence.
Absolute confidentiality
Your gene sequence will be kept completely confidential. If needed, we will sign a non-disclosure or confidentiality agreement stating that we will not use or disclose the sequence of your gene to a third party for any reason.
